十一（黃明昊 飾）從小由父親張永勛（白客 飾）獨自撫養(yǎng)長大，自出生時就離世的媽媽東玉（馬思純 飾）對于他而言則是陌生人般的存在。處于青春叛逆期的十一，在自己18歲生日這天意外發(fā)現(xiàn)了一本「媽媽的日記」。在好奇心的驅使下，十一翻開日記，開啟了一段“認識媽媽”的旅程——十一跟隨著媽媽的成長經(jīng)歷，邂逅了她人生不同階段的重要人物——霹靂舞學長（梁靖康 飾）、高中閨蜜彩霞（嵇嘉禾 飾）、發(fā)小劉皮孩（王天放 飾）、初戀小哥（孫陽 飾）以及老公張永勛。這些人物串聯(lián)起東玉一生所經(jīng)歷的友誼、愛情與親情…… 透過這本「日記」，十一看見了東玉短暫卻向陽的一生，也終于感受到了她對自己從始至終不曾缺席的愛……

西南偏南電影節(jié)劇情片競賽。                                                                      　　Nellie and Daisy attempt to escape the institution for delinquent girls in 1954 New Zealand, however not only are they caught, it triggers a relocation to a facility on a remote island. The duo become a trio as well-to-do Lou joins them, and life on the island takes shape under the command of devout Matron. The trio rail against the system, dubious of the benevolence of the bible and taking refuge in their blossoming friendship. It’s hard to reform girls who don’t believe they need reforming. However, a sense of doom settles in when experimental forms of punishment take place in the dead of night. Nellie and Daisy plot rebellion, but unexpectedly find themselves at odds with Lou, who is afraid to break the rules.
