1950年代,北方某農(nóng)村。黃土屯土地貧瘠十年九旱,農(nóng)業(yè)社成立后,吳大成(王琪 飾)任社主任兼支書(shū),他決心帶領(lǐng)鄉(xiāng)親們打井抗旱,改變家鄉(xiāng)面貌。村里壞人錢(qián)三泰(李保羅 飾)趁機(jī)搞破壞,使大成的努力前功盡棄,加之養(yǎng)子小旺(孫水平 飾)的突然出走,使本來(lái)眼睛不好的妻子銀花(秦怡 飾)雙目失明。深明大義的銀花為了不拖累大成的工作,強(qiáng)忍失明痛苦,不斷為丈夫出主意想辦法。大成深感自己在工作中的急躁情緒影響了大伙,他努力克服著缺點(diǎn),并及時(shí)向上級(jí)組織匯報(bào)情況以討得解決問(wèn)題的方法。通過(guò)發(fā)動(dòng)群眾,他們終于揪出了暗藏的階級(jí)敵人,受蒙蔽出走的小旺也回到了黃土屯......
好像一切都很糟糕
Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
