　　家中以賣魚為生的金大喜（蔡卓妍飾），熱愛唱歌的她從小便發明星夢。一個機會讓她進入了Harry(陳小春飾)的唱片公司擔任歌手Shadow的助手。加入了他們之后才發現，Harry與弟弟阿榮（余文樂飾）不和，Shadow的興趣更不是在唱歌方面。金大喜極力為他們解圍，令原本冷冷清清的一家人多了許多溫暖。本來就互有好感的阿榮跟Shadow的撮合下成為戀人。　　Shadow被唱片公司任命灌錄唱片，使五音不全的她十分為難，便開玩笑的要讓金大喜幫她開腔，怎料Harry誤讓老板聽到了那首歌，并揚言要大力宣傳。Harry只好求金大喜扮演幕后代唱的位置。Hary知道金大喜的心意，并為她爭取了一個出演的機會，不料被對頭人陷害，最后還是要幫Shadow代唱，令大喜黯然，可是陰差陽錯的事情又發生了……
