回廊亭殺人事件

等待方舟

The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart. Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory? n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in. What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts. On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired. One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places. Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.
爐火正紅
李亞林,龐學(xué)勤,任頤,馬世達(dá),張巨光,印質(zhì)明,浦克,張圓,趙寶華,隋桂鳳,李曉功,任偉民,苑小君,夏佩杰,張沖霄聞名全國的鋼都鞍山,處處是一片雄偉的景象。在大躍進(jìn)的年代里機(jī)器轟鳴,人聲喧騰。夜晚的鋼都更加美麗,她沉浸在鐵水映照的霞光里,變幻出種種奇光異彩。在這里,它給祖國的建設(shè)煉出千萬噸鋼材,也給鋼鐵戰(zhàn)線輸送了成批的煉鋼能手。鞍山車站上人山人海,鋼鐵工人懷著雄心大志,響應(yīng)黨和國家的號召,即將遠(yuǎn)征。列車離站了,送別的人懷著惜別之情擁出站臺。金屬結(jié)構(gòu)廠的王經(jīng)理和吳隊(duì)長邊走邊談出現(xiàn)在人群中,王經(jīng)理提醒吳隊(duì)長說:“今天送走了這么多熟練工人,擺在咱們面前的困難將會更多”……吳隊(duì)長卻滿有信心地回答道“:嗨,只要工人加把勁,哪有克服不了的困難!”話不投機(jī),王經(jīng)理默然了。幸好有個(gè)老大娘要找經(jīng)理,打破了尷尬。老大娘是金屬結(jié)構(gòu)廠工人朱全忠的媽媽,她生怕兒子遠(yuǎn)走高飛耽誤了婚事,特地來勸兒子回家成親的。朱全忠是個(gè)棒小伙子,他積極能干,足智多謀,在千軍萬馬的高爐工地上,是個(gè)出色的交通指揮。朱全忠跟媽媽會面之后,繪聲繪色地告訴媽媽:“等高爐修好了,煉出好鋼鐵,讓拖拉機(jī)滿地跑,莊稼人干活可就輕巧啦!到那時(shí)我把媳婦接到這兒來……”老人被他感染、被他說服了。高爐工地澆灌基礎(chǔ)將要提前結(jié)束,新的戰(zhàn)役即將開始,綜合工地黨工委根據(jù)澆灌工程提前完成的新情況,提出縮短工期,提前出鐵的計(jì)劃。在黨工委會上,立馬上陣的金屬結(jié)構(gòu)工程是討論的重點(diǎn)。王經(jīng)理對縮短工期持有不同意見,憑他多年領(lǐng)導(dǎo)建設(shè)的經(jīng)驗(yàn),這里現(xiàn)存的困難是協(xié)作件供不上,塔式吊車不夠用,他認(rèn)為不可能縮短工期。黨工委決定把這個(gè)問題交給群眾來討論。跟王經(jīng)理合作過好幾個(gè)工程的工人們聽到黨的號召,紛紛琢磨、推敲縮短工期的具體計(jì)劃。一時(shí)間獻(xiàn)計(jì)獻(xiàn)策的人都匯集在吳隊(duì)長家,大家對王經(jīng)理這副冷漠態(tài)度感到十分懷疑,覺得他和從前完全不同了。他安于坐在辦公室里聽匯報(bào),老守著電話機(jī)發(fā)號施令,他跟工人的距離越來越遠(yuǎn),工人們?yōu)榱颂岣咚醯倪\(yùn)用率,試用一鉤多吊的辦法,王經(jīng)理卻認(rèn)為這是為了多賺計(jì)件工資。吳隊(duì)長在比武會上提出縮短工期為60天,王經(jīng)理堅(jiān)決反對,跟吳隊(duì)長鬧翻了。所有這些,促使王經(jīng)理對現(xiàn)狀更不滿,有時(shí)甚至拒不參加黨的會議。在這熱火朝天的群眾運(yùn)動中,田書記常常提醒自己,別被勝利沖昏頭腦,發(fā)現(xiàn)新的問題和新情況時(shí),總是耐心聽取群眾的意見。他幾乎是日日夜夜地守著工地,對群眾的干勁、智慧和創(chuàng)造力了如指掌。他的工作作風(fēng)深為群眾所稱贊。工期只有十幾天了,金屬結(jié)構(gòu)工程由于構(gòu)件供應(yīng)失調(diào),塔吊窩工,眼看還有兩千多噸的構(gòu)件需吊裝,工人們急紅了眼,紛紛向黨工委會提意見,田書記及時(shí)地向市委反映了情況。在一次黨工委會上,王經(jīng)理受到了群眾嚴(yán)厲的批評。市委根據(jù)某些薄弱環(huán)節(jié)存在的問題采取了措施,改變了大協(xié)作中的不協(xié)調(diào)狀況。王經(jīng)理一度陷于否定自己一切的苦惱中,但經(jīng)田書記的幫助和現(xiàn)實(shí)的教育,使他冷靜地分析了自己產(chǎn)生脫離群眾和片面看問題的思想根源,從而轉(zhuǎn)變了工作態(tài)度。正當(dāng)?shù)跹b最緊張的階段,王經(jīng)理深入工地,當(dāng)機(jī)立斷地采用了工人倡議的整體吊裝,并親自指揮戰(zhàn)斗。工人們看到領(lǐng)導(dǎo)這種虛懷若谷的精神,都十分感動。看,爐火正紅,又一座高爐投入了生產(chǎn)!鐵水奔流,映紅了鋼都半邊天,朱全忠攙著慈母和愛妻瀏覽著鋼都新景。鋼都在沸騰,在不斷前進(jìn)著。
