　　《男人之苦》第16集，十七歲妙齡少女順子（櫻田淳子飾）找上門，聲稱寅次郎（渥美清飾）是她老豆！幸好寅剛回到柴又的家，得以澄清一切。原來十多年前在山形縣，寅飢寒交迫之際，受過少女母親阿雪的熱飯，一生難忘，自此每年寄錢給阿雪，誰知令順子誤會他就是生父。寅從順子口中得知阿雪去年過了身，傷心不已，遂獨自到山形縣掃墓。當寅得悉阿雪生前埋怨自己沒有學識，所以被男人所騙，一生受苦之後，他馬上立志求學，發(fā)奮圖強。回到老家寅記，剛好來了一個考古學研究生的租客禮子〔[木堅]山文枝飾），寅自然把握機會向美人求學。豈料禮子身邊有一個親密的大學教授（小林桂樹飾），他博學多才，狂野豪爽，且一直暗戀禮子……寅在情場再遇大敵。　　The sixteenth instalment in the Tora-san series.
