　　世紀之交，背井離鄉的馬飛（郭麒麟 飾）重返天津，在種種不盡如意的遭遇下“拐走”外甥李嘉文（胡朗荃 飾），舅甥就此踏上一段“離經叛道”之旅。事態脫韁失控，抽象不斷升級，一切荒唐隨之而來……

　　李·佩斯出演美國傳奇汽車公司德勞瑞恩的創始人——天才汽車設計師約翰·德勞瑞恩，影片設定在1980年代，德勞瑞恩創建還沒幾年，正在崛起，聚焦約翰和蘇戴奇斯飾演的Jim Hoffman的關系。Hoffman看似有趣迷人，其實他是一名前詐騙犯，現在為FBI工作，他來約翰這里當臥底，想要控告其販毒。兩人建立的一段有趣的bromance也很快急轉直下，行差踏錯。
