　　At fictitious Tait University in the Roaring 20's, co-ed and school librarian Connie Lane (June Allyson) falls for football hero Tommy Marlowe (Peter Lawford). Unfortunately, he has his eye on gold-digging vamp Pat McClellan. Tommy's grades start to slip, which keeps him from playing in the big game. Connie eventually finds out Tommy really loves her and devises a plan to win him back and to get him back on the field.

　　An asteroid shower hits a space station, then lands in a remote section of the Grand Canyon. Mysterious pods form and soon mutate into creatures that threaten the space station and Earth.

排球之花

 年輕女排教練田大力從南海市調到北方后，發現了好苗子凌雪。在共同的訓練和生活中，凌雪和田大力的愛情日益發展，大力不愿耽誤凌雪的訓練，克制住自己的感情，把她調往南海市，讓自己的老師吳振亞更好地訓練和培養她。十年動亂中，吳教練被扣上“反動技術權威”的帽子，趕出了排球界，并把田大力打成“現行反革命”，慘遭毒打而死。吳教練和田小莉領取骨灰時，知道了實情，原來田大力被公安局長和火葬場的工友送到大興安嶺隱居至今。田大力終于和小莉、凌雪團聚。

　　阿星（周星馳 飾)利用特異功能在賭王大賽出盡風頭，而后云游世界，不知所蹤。洪光（秦沛 飾）不甘心失敗，再度組織“超級賭王大賽”。松爺（劉鎮偉 飾）勒令三叔（吳孟達 飾）尋覓特異功能人士參賽。另一方面，大陸對阿星在港所作所為十分不滿，派出同樣有特異功能的阿星之姐阿梅（梅艷芳 飾）赴港捉回阿星。三叔巧遇魚市賭霸（鄭裕玲 飾），為其賭技折服邀她出賽，卻不知對方只是為弟弟籌措手術費的一名老千而已。阿梅暫住三叔家里，與大陸抵港的義匪大B（鐘鎮濤 飾）結識并心生愛意，并且最終答應傳授賭霸特異功能以幫助她渡過難關。賭王大賽如期舉行，阿梅卻遭襲以致功力大減，而洪光卻請來了大陸異人為自己撐腰……
