高保成,田華,張力維,洪學敏,陳惠良,里坡,孫憲元,林默予,傅泰增,陳佩斯,劉磊,霍德集,陽藝,車毅,王菁,劉龍,鄭綏旭,周楚,莽一萍夜深人靜，萬籟俱寂。一個全身包裹十分嚴實的神秘身影出現在八一七廠的廠區(qū)內，他一步一步走上辦公樓，進入圖紙室打開保險柜，拿出了海軍裝備的“獵字99號心臟分機”圖紙進行拍照。原來他是受敵對勢力指派的一名間諜，其盜取了重要的軍事機密將為我國國防事業(yè)建設造成巨大的損失。工廠女工無意間瞥見間諜逃脫的身影，偵察科長趙群（陳惠良 飾）和年輕的女偵員陳敏（張力維 飾）接到報警后以最快的速度趕到八一七廠。經過縝密調查，趙群確定這與八年前曾經意圖作亂的間諜AC大有干系，因此必須在AC將圖紙送出國之前抓到這條老狐貍。與此同時，特務機構命令小特務（陳佩斯 飾）偽裝成海外華僑楊其昌與AC接頭。時間在一分一秒地流逝，正邪之間的較量到了最后關頭……

Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
