　　Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.　　Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.

飛天法寶

　　菲利普教授（羅賓·威廉姆斯 Robin Williams 飾）對研究工作的癡迷就像癮君子沉溺毒品般，終日為了研究忙得不可開交，甚至因此已經錯過了自己的兩次結婚典禮。眼下第三次大婚的鐘聲已來到門外，菲利普的研究卻出現了重大突破，毫無意外，他再一次因此錯過了婚禮，留未婚妻莎拉（馬西婭·蓋伊·哈登 Marcia Gay Harden 飾）在教堂苦苦等候，怨言滿腹。菲利普看著被他稱為“飛天法寶”的新發明——一種綠色的膠狀物質，能夠克服地心引力，只需將它涂在任何物體上，那個物體就會騰空而起。不過這種物質也有個難以捉摸的特性，隨時會捉弄一下使用它的人。為了追回被他氣走的未婚妻，同時挽救即將關閉的學校，菲利普教授將飛天法寶涂在?；@球隊員的球鞋上，結果球隊大獲全勝。然而同時，也招來了別有用心者對飛天法寶的覬覦……
