笹野陽介（役所廣司）被公司裁員裁掉后又被妻子拋棄，只得流浪街頭，通過一位流浪老人之口，他來到遙遠偏僻的能登半島一幢位于河邊赤橋下的房子，想找尋老人所說的藏有金佛的盒子，但沒能如愿以償，只遇見體質相當特殊的佐惠子（清水美砂）。 佐惠子的特殊在于，當她與男ML合時，體內會分泌出神奇的;暖水 該;暖水能令過季的花兒盛開、能把大海的魚群召到河里。而更重要的，是沐浴在佐惠子;暖水下的男人，會重拾失去的信心和活力。如此，笹野陽介與佐惠子開始了一次次的交合。
