  Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart.  Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory?  n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in.  What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts.  On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired.  One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places.  Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.

 影片以彭德懷同志在“文革”前和文革剛開始的經歷為主體,不斷穿插閃回各種歷史片斷,用傳記片的手法反映了他富有傳奇色彩的一生,使觀眾對他光明磊落、胸懷坦蕩、剛正不阿德個性和雄才大略有了一個全面直觀的認識。影片從歷史的真實面貌出發,并沒有將主人公神化,而是將一個有血有肉可親可敬的領袖人物全面的展現出來。影片熱情地贊揚了彭總的赫赫戰功,謳歌了彭總剛正不阿、直言敢諫、堅持真理、不畏權勢的精神。相比較其他開過元帥,彭德懷的耿直和心胸是永存于歷史的。歷史,是不會磨滅他的功勞。人民,不會忘記他的功勞。

  阿姆布羅瑟(文森特·卡索 Vincent Cassel 飾)是一名非常虔誠的修道士,早就發誓將自己的身體和心里全權交由上帝管理。苛刻而又嚴格的他對教義有著自己獨特的理解,他覺得世人每一日都在玷污上帝的存在。瑪蒂娜非常的崇拜阿姆布羅瑟,她的順從和服從激發了阿姆布羅瑟潛藏在心底的獸欲,欲望一旦被激發,就無法收拾,阿姆布羅瑟一步一步向著深淵走去。  安東尼婭(約瑟芬·約比 Joséphine Japy 飾)是常常前往修道院為自己的母親禱告的女孩,她的純潔吸引了阿姆布羅斯的注意,后者為了能夠占有她的身體,不惜設計將她的母親殺死。最終,阿姆布羅瑟的種種罪行被一個貴族青年給發現了。

 李大嬸治家有方,社員們贊不絕口,唯獨小女兒雪花對媽媽總是一腔怨氣。一年前,在黨的富民政策鼓舞下,李大嬸為早日實現"蓋新房、娶媳婦"的心愿,執意讓雪花停學,回家幫喂豬。天資聰穎的雪花每當想到荒廢了學業,心里就十分悵惘。姐姐菊花與她性格相反,是一個從小沒念過書,遵從母命、辛勤操勞的姑娘。大兒子家興勤勞、孝順、一心撲在農業生產上。熱情開朗的新娘春杏鼓勵自己的丈夫、擔任團支部宣傳委員的家興在村里辦起了圖書室,雪花擔任圖書管理員。春杏還熱情地輔導菊花學文化、唱歌,給這個家庭增添了不少生氣。李大嬸喜歡有文化顧大局的兒媳,可聽說春杏參加村里文化活動,動員菊花去學文化,還支持雪花到縣里參加為期十天的文藝創作講習班,心里很不高興。春杏感到很委屈,雪花和母親的思想距離也越來越大。小兒子家炎在全家的支持下終于考上了大學,全家人非常高興,鄉親們了熱烈祝賀,李大嬸又到墳前告慰丈夫的亡靈:家里蓋了新房,娶了媳婦,也有了大學生。為了報答蓋房時幫了大忙的朋友,李大嬸包辦將菊花許配給了這個人家。菊花不敢違背母親的意志,含淚離家。李大嬸剛送走出嫁的女兒菊花,回家知道春杏回了娘家,雪花離家出走,一時氣急悲痛地昏厥過去。家興找回春杏,她顧全大局,挑起了全家的生活重擔。李大嬸大病初愈,看到家里的一切被春杏操持得井井有序,欣慰地笑了。可想到出嫁的女兒,出走的雪花,內心一陣難過。春杏和家興開導母親,希望以后不要在學習和婚姻上限制雪花。李大嬸有所醒悟,急切盼望雪花回來,春杏四處打聽,終于找回給人家當保姆的雪花。李大嬸通過這場風波,意識到自己思想沒有趕上時代的步伐,逐漸消除了思想上的隔閡。轉眼間到了大年三十,趁一家團聚之際,她心悅誠服地把家里的"大權"托付給了兒媳春杏。兒女們為母親能最終理解他們,臉上露出了幸福的笑容。

春生回家

日軍侵華,陳春生目睹父親慘死刀下,執念驅使他不顧母親哀求,深夜偷跑參軍,立誓抗日救國,再回家鄉。他在戰場浴血成長,終見山河光復,然而內戰打響,拖慢了他回鄉的腳步。陳春生拒絕向同胞舉槍,淪為逃兵被關押,1949年被強行運往臺灣。在臺數十年,他漂泊無依,雖遇良伴組建新家,卻始終被思鄉之苦煎熬。兩岸三通后,他竟得知母親仍在等他,八十三歲的他飛奔回鄉,與百歲母親相認,這份遲到71年的承諾,終在生命盡頭圓滿。
