孔子51歲那年，第一次當(dāng)上了魯國(guó)中都的邑宰（地方父母官），治所在今山東省汶上縣。他終于有機(jī)會(huì)施展自己的政治主張，滿懷信心帶著幾位弟子上任。僅一年，中都就出現(xiàn)路不拾遺、夜不閉戶的和諧景象，成為當(dāng)時(shí)各地爭(zhēng)相效法的樣板，也為歷代的父母官樹立了楷模。
